My Credentials

Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)

Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork is the highest voluntary credential a massage therapist can obtain within the profession—it is above and beyond entry level state licensure. By becoming Board Certified, I represent a community of therapists who have gone above standard educational and work experience requirements with a dedicated and lifelong commit to continuing education. Furthermore, I live up to higher standards and ethics in alignment with The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).

To achieve my Board Certification, I provided proof of a minimum of 750 hours of education, 250 hours of professional, hands-on work experience, passed a criminal background check, agreed to uphold NCBTMB's Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, and passed the Board Certification Exam. By passing the BCETMB and meeting all requirements, I demonstrate advanced assessment and critical thinking skills, as well as a commitment to excellence. I wear the credentials BCTMB with pride for myself, my profession, and, most importantly, my clients.

I limit my private consulting to the marvels of Cranio-Sacral Therapy,  And some particularly useful complementary modalities...

SOMA Golf I and II

Dr. Guy Voyer's osteopathic, ground breaking work has taken both orthopedic recovery and sports performance/injury prevention by storm across the globe.  He has turned a corner with SOMA Golf's newly specialized courses for rotational movement. (Known best for/as ELDOA--fascial elongation for space in the joints.)

I offer Rotational Integrity (aka Guy Voyer methodology) mainly and best via limited small group training at Pivotal Swivel, located on the bottom floor of my homestead, called BIOLA. Please visit www.pivotalswivel.com --up this (Fall 2017).   Offerings are in person, by enrollment,  and located in the exquisite Coeur d'Alene Area of Northern Idaho and will be available by appointment and registration online fairly soon.  You should know, that all class offerings can be described as BODY/MIND or MIND/BODY.  (Nothing stands alone!)   Cranio-Sacral Therapy remains the only private consultation.. and also may include ELDOA's,  neuro-muscular and other bodywork modalities as complements.

FYI: Rotational Integrity and Themed Tensegrity half day sessions:  As a result of two career paths merging, a wholistic viewpoint in group sessions dynamicallly integrates neuro-economy and creative process, whilst DIYer dignity remains front and center at Pivotal Swivel.  Guided experiential 'bio-hacking' variably draws upon laughter and breath work.  For Tensegrity, contemporized ancient Chinese Wu Wei Meditation leads with themes. And,interwoven,  time tried, left/right brain tricks-n-tips, Taoist healing, experiential and smart movement create a plethora for you to draw upon for home use, as you see fit.  Hopefully, like with Cranio-Sacral Therapy to bring you to your next biological and biographical imperative.
